We are pleased to announce that the XVII International Nidovirus Symposium will take place from 24th to 27th June 2026, in Hong Kong.

Over the past 40 years, the Nidovirus Symposium has developed into a triennial event covering all aspects of nidoviruses and nidovirology. This eclectic group of viruses impacts both humans and animals, featuring significant pathogens such as SARS-CoV-2, zoonotic SARS- and MERS-coronaviruses, common cold viruses, and various economically important livestock viruses.

This meeting will provide an excellent opportunity for researchers worldwide to share their latest discoveries and scientific findings, fostering meaningful face-to-face exchanges of ideas. The event will be held in the Grand Hall at the University of Hong Kong.

Please mark your calendars! Registration and event details will be announced shortly. We look forward to sharing more updates soon!
